Tips & Advice

FROM SHOPPING TO GETTING AROUND, AND IMPORTANTLY - COFFEE!

Reservations

Do shop around for your best deals, the reservation pages on Mont Tremblant resort pages are an excellent place to start.  If you have a deal that you want to test then contact Tremblant Elysium and see whether they can match it or offer you one of their promotions.

e-Concierge

Do take advantage of the e-Concierge, after you have spent your money getting to Mont Tremblant don’t blow your time doing the boring yet stressful tasks of organising skis and groceries for your fridge, let the e-Concierge service do it for you so your vacation starts as soon as you arrive.

Shopping

Grocery and food shopping in Mont Tremblant resort is limited and understandably expensive, there is an excellent IGA supermarket in Saint Jovite where you can stock up on healthy food to keep snacking on.

Bus to IGA Tremblant: 412, Route 117, St-Jovite, QC, J8E 2X5

The Municipality bus runs between the main village at the bottom of the village lift into the old town of Tremblant every 45 minutes or so, fares were 1,75$ each way.  The bus does a circuit and takes you out to the supermarket and Canadian Tyre (a cross between B&Q and Halfords, only cheaper).

The off-licence in the Village Square has a super range of wines from France, the New Worlds and Canada and also does a super range of Canadian Rye Whiskies which are excellent as a winter drink.

Other activities

If you fancy a day off skiing then there is La Source a swimming and relaxation complex in the main village. Click here to find out more about La Source

Good coffee

You may think Canadian “country style” coffee is super.  They serve it everywhere but Europeans do like their espressos, cappuccinos and lattes – I only found one place in the resort that did a proper coffee – the cyber cafe!
